Overview
WPI supports a collection of persistent
runtime and
startup configuration parameters.
-
Runtime parameters are used by WPI as soon as they change (i.e., by the
currently running instance of WPI).
-
Startup parameters, on the other hand, take effect the
next time the program starts.
Special Note
All fractional numeric values (e.g., a Paper Width of 8-1/2 inches)
must be specified
using a decimal point character appropriate for the host operating system's
current locale. For example, the English decimal point is the period
("."), while Germany uses a comma (","). All example fractional numeric
values displayed in this document assume the English locale.
The remainder of this document describes WPI's configuration screen, which
is the user interface that provides access to both startup and runtime
parameters.
Throughout this document, it may be helpful to refer to
an actual image of the configuration screen, which is provided below.
Note that this is a
clickable image.
Simply click on any area of the user interface for which immediate help is
desired.

Example specification that selects only CGM and bitmap

*.cgm;*.bmp
Hint: Use a semicolon to separate wildcard specifications,
not a comma.
Working Directory

The desired folder can be
